Assigning a role for storage cluster management to a Google account

Assign a Google account a Viewer role and the role for managing the storage cluster you created.

Note that if you perform storage cluster setup with a Google account that has administrative privilege, you can skip this procedure. In such a case, go to Creating a virtual network.

  1. Use a Google account that has administrative privilege for login.
  2. In the IAM & Admin window, click IAM to open the IAM window.
  3. In the Allow tab, select Grant access.
  4. In the setting page shown in the right, enter the following, and then select Save.

    Add principals: Google account to which you want to assign a role

    Assign roles: Role to be assigned

  5. Verify that the Google account (principal) that you set has been assigned a role.
