Controller nodes are used for configuring and managing VSP One SDS Block. To perform the following operations, you need a terminal that meets Controller node requirements. Use of the CLI is optional. To use a CLI, see Configuring an environment for using a VSP One SDS Block CLI.

  • VSP One SDS Block Administrator operation

  • REST API operation

  • CLI operation

In the controller node, use a console where you can run commands such as curl (for operating REST APIs) and CLI. If the OS of your controller node is Windows, use a command prompt. VSP One SDS Block Administrator is a software product that lets you easily verify the status and total configuration of VSP One SDS Block and information about individual resources. VSP One SDS Block Administrator is easy to navigate and offers fast response times. You can also use the VSP One SDS Block Administrator to register compute nodes and create volumes.
