Create volumes as follows.

Open one of the following windows.
- Volumes window
- Storage Pool window
- Storage Controllers detailed information window (only for iSCSI connection)
- (Cloud) Fault Domain detailed information window (Multi-AZ configuration)

Click the following icon.
For List view:

The following dialog appears.
(Bare metal) Compute port: FC connection or NVMe/TCP connection
(Bare metal) Compute port: iSCSI connection
(Cloud) Single-AZ configuration
(Cloud) Multi-AZ configuration

Enter each of the following parameters:
- VIRTUAL PRIVATE STORAGE: Name of the VPS to which volumes belong
- (Cloud) RESOURCE TO MANAGE
THE VOLUME: Resource that manages volumes
This item is displayed when Multi-AZ configuration is applied. When creating a volume (journal volume or data volume) for remote copy, select a Storage Controller to manage the volume. In other cases, select Fault Domain for a primary to manage the volume.
- (Cloud) PRIMARY FAULT DOMAIN: A fault domain to which the storage controller that manages the volume as a primary currently belongs
- STORAGE NODE NAME (STORAGE CONTROLLER ID): ID of the storage controller that manages volumes
- CAPACITY SAVING: Setting of the data reduction function of volumes. This item
is displayed only when "STORAGE NODE MINIMUM MEMORY SIZE" of the
protection domain window is no less than 234 GiB and "WRITE BACK MODE
WITH CACHE PROTECTION" of the storage cluster information is Enabled. If
this item is not displayed, Disabled is set.
If you are a VPS administrator, the text is displayed instead of the input field.
- CAPACITY: Logical capacity of the volume and its unit
- NUMBER OF VOLUMES: The number of volumes to be created
- VOLUME NAME: The name of the volume
- SUFFIX START NUMBER: The first sequential number suffixed to a volume name or nickname, in the case multiple volumes are created with the same volume name or nickname. If omitted, no number is added.
- NUMBER OF DIGITS: The number of digits of a number suffixed to a name or nickname
- VOLUME NICKNAME: The nickname of the volume. If omitted, VOLUME NAME is used.
- Click Submit.

When the following "Completed" message is displayed, processing is
completed.
- Successfully created volumes.
