When the Floating base license is applied, adding drives or changing the tolerable number of drive failures might exceed the licensed capacity of the AWS License Manager license.
Obtain information by using the REST API or CLI to verify whether the capacity after adding drives or changing the tolerable number of drive failures is within the licensed capacity of the AWS License Manager license beforehand.

Do not perform the following operations while the configuration is being changed. Also, the following operations do not verify whether the specified number of storage nodes or specified number of additional storage nodes meets the requirements of the minimum number of storage nodes or the number of storage nodes to be concurrently added according to the user data protection method or Availability Zone configuration.
When the Trial, Subscription, or Utility base license is applied, the estimation described in this section is not available.
