The following information can be obtained.

  • id: ID (uuid) of the intended storage controller

  • allocatableCapacity: Maximum logical capacity that can be managed by storage controllers [MiB]

  • currentlyAllocatableCapacity: Logical capacity managed by storage controllers [MiB]

  • usedCapacity: Consumed capacity of storage pools managed by the intended storage controller [MiB]

  • logicalLimit: Maximum logical capacity that can be specified for volumes on the intended storage controller [MiB]

  • volumeMaximumCapacity: Maximum capacity of a single volume that can be created on the specified storage controller [MiB]

  • freeCapacity: Free capacity of storage pools managed by the intended storage controller [MiB]

  • status: Status of the intended storage controller

  • metaDataRedundancyOfCacheProtection: Metadata redundancy for cache protection in write back mode with cache protection in storage controllers

  • activeStorageNodeId: ID (uuid) of the storage node in which the active storage controller is running

  • standbyStorageNodeId: ID (uuid) of the storage node in which the standby storage controller is running

  • secondaryStandbyStorageNodeId: ID (uuid) of the storage node in which the second standby storage controller is running

  • isDetailedLoggingMode: Whether detailed logging mode is enabled or disabled

  • allocatableCapacityUsageRate: Usage rate for the maximum logical capacity that can be managed on the storage controller [%]

  • currentlyAllocatableCapacityUsageRate: Usage rate for the logical capacity managed on the specified storage controller [%]

  • capacityStatus: Status of the capacity status managed by the specified storage controller

  • dataRebalanceStatus: Status of balancing processing of user data capacity managed by each storage controller

  • dataRebalanceProgressRate: Progress rate of balancing processing of user data capacity managed by each storage controller [%]

  • totalVolumeCapacity: Total capacity of volumes that have been created on the applicable storage controller [MiB]

  • provisionedVolumeCapacity: Capacity of provisioned volumes that have been created on the applicable storage controller [MiB]

  • otherVolumeCapacity: Capacity of other volumes that have been created on the applicable storage controller [MiB]

    • usedVolumeCapacity: Consumed capacity of volumes [MiB]

    • compressedCapacity: Reduction amount by compression [MiB]. The amount of system data consumed by the data reduction function is not included.

    • reclaimedCapacity: Reduction amount by fixed pattern exclusion. The amount of system data consumed by the data reduction function is not included.

    • systemDataCapacity: Amount of system data consumed by the data reduction function (amount of metadata and garbage data) [MiB]

    • preUsedCapacity: Amount of data before reduction [MiB]

    • preCompressedCapacity: Amount of data before compression [MiB]

  • udpPort: UDP communication port number of the virtual command device.

  • pinInformation: PIN information

  • primaryFaultDomainId: ID of the primary fault domain to which the originally active storage node of the storage controller belongs

  • Required role: Security, Storage, RemoteCopy, Monitor, Service, or Resource

  1. Verify the ID of the intended storage controller.

    REST API: GET /v1/objects/storage-controllers

    CLI: storage_controller_list

  2. Obtain information about the intended storage controller.

Run either of the following commands with the storage controller ID specified.

    REST API: GET /v1/objects/storage-controllers/<id>

    CLI: storage_controller_show
