Configuring multi-factor authentication (MFA) enhances the security of the security administrator (secadmin) account. MFA is a multi-step authentication process that allows users to login to VSP One File management software using the login password and a one-time password (OTP) generated from a configured OTP application.
Make sure that you are logged in to the VSP One File management software as security administrator (secadmin) and start Keycloak.
- Navigate to .
- In the Users page, click the secadmin user.
- In the secadmin page, select Configure OTP from Required user actions list, and then click Save.
- Click Back to VSP One File to log out from Keycloak, and then log out from the VSP One File management software.
- Login as the security administrator.
- In the Mobile Authenticator Setup page, complete the following information, and then click Submit.
- Download a one-time password (OTP) application on your mobile phone.
Choose from FreeOTP Authenticator, Google Authenticator, and Microsoft Authenticator.
- Open the application and scan the QR code.
- Enter the code generated by the application.
- (Optional) Enter a device name to manage OTP devices.
