iSCSI port assignments

iSCSI ports are available with optical Ethernet ports:

  • Optical iSCSI port: Use a multimode XFP optical cable. (10G and 25G)
Note: 10G iSCSI options are only supported for use under initiator mode (replication). 25G ISCSI is only supported for use under target mode (host connection).
  1. Connect the optical to the connector of each port.
    Insert the cables until they are fixed to the Small Form-Factor Pluggable (SFP). Check that the cable latch clicks and that the cables are securely connected.
  2. Connect the optical cables to the host devices.
