The Hitachi Remote Ops monitoring system monitors your storage system and notifies Hitachi Vantara when service is required.
- Log in to the Support website and obtain the Site ID for the location where the storage system is installed. If you do not see your site listed, add the site.
- Download the agent from Remote Ops Downloads on Support Connect.
- Select Remote Ops Agent from the version drop-down menu.
- Click Download next to the desired version.
- Copy HRO_Agent.1.2.zip to the target machine.
- Unzip the file.
The following four files are included:
- Node-x64
- OpenJRE
- RemoteOpsAgentSetup
- ROA_x64
- Run RemoteOpsAgentSetup.exe.
If running as an unelevated user, enter credentials for an administrative account when prompted.
- Follow the on-screen instructions for the installation wizard to complete the installation process.
- After installing the application, allow 5 minutes before opening the agent.
There is a shortcut for
Remote Ops Agent in the Windows start menu under
Hitachi Vantara.
The installer logs are located in %userprofile%\AppData\Local\Temp.
The agent logs are located in C:\ProgramData\RemoteOps\Logs.
