Invalid monitoring data indicates that valid data cannot be obtained or calculated because of the storage system status, the storage configuration information, and the status of accumulating monitoring data.
When invalid monitoring data is detected, Export Tool 2 does not end in error, but instead continues processing.
When invalid monitoring data is detected, review the CSV file to identify the invalid value. The following table lists and describes invalid monitoring values.
Value of monitoring data in CSV file | Description |
---|---|
-1 | Performance metrics cannot be obtained because of the following reasons.
|
-3 | When IOPS is 0, the value of [Response time] included in monitoring data of LU, LDEV, Port, and external volume is “-3”. Because IOPS is 0, the average response time is invalid. When it is “-3”, the cause is also described in the user guide to indicate that it is not a serious issue for users. |
