When an error occurs, Export Tool 2 issues an error message that includes a message ID, a description of the error, and recommended action to resolve the error condition.
Example:
2004The export tool cannot close the exportTool.properties file.
Verify that the exportTool.properties file is not locked or being edited, and then try again.
The following table lists and describes the error message ID ranges. If you are not able to resolve an error condition, contact customer support.
