Certain problems might occur when you use VSP One Block Administrator. These problems can be handled as follows.
If you cannot log in to VSP One Block Administrator
If a message appears, indicating that the server is busy and asking you to wait a while and then try again, and you cannot log in to VSP One Block Administrator, wait a while and then try again. Alternatively, perform a ESM reboot of the CTL for which a problem with the maintenance utility has occurred.
If you still cannot log in even after performing a ESM reboot, contact the technical support department.
If an error periodically occurs in VSP One Block Administrator
If the following conditions are met and you cannot use VSP One Block Administrator, reboot the ESM of the CTL where the problem occurs:
- An error message notification is sent when you perform an operation on a window. An error message notification is sent when you perform an operation on a window.
- You cannot perform the corrective action for the error message notification, or the problem is not resolved even if you perform the correction action.
If an error occurs in processing to set port connections for a server
If you are using an iSCSI connection and an error occurs in processing to set port connections for a server, check and, if necessary, revise the server name so that it does not contain any commas (,), slashes (/), or backslashes (\). Then, try the operation to set port connections for a server again.
