You can expand the capacity of a volume to increase the capacity that
can be attached to the server.
- Make sure that the volume is attached to the server.

Obtain the following:
- Server name
- Volume name
- Capacity to be expanded
- Make sure that the user performing the procedure has been assigned
the Storage Administrator (Provisioning) role.

From the navigation tree, select . If you are not using VSP One Block Administrator to manage servers, from the
navigation tree, click , and then go to step 3.

From the inventory of servers, click the server name to open the details
page.

From the inventory of volumes at the bottom of the details page, select the
check boxes for the volumes to be expanded, and then click Expand Volumes in the action bar.
You can also perform the operation by displaying the VOLUMES list page from the navigation
tree.
You can select multiple volumes and expand them at the same
time.

Expand the capacity of the selected volumes by specifying the amount of
capacity to add or by specifying the total capacity after expansion.
