Deleting pools

You can delete pools that are no longer used. Make sure that there are no volumes created for the pool being deleted.

  • Identify the name of the pool to be deleted.
  • Make sure that no volumes have been created for the pool to be deleted.
  • Make sure that the user performing the procedure has been assigned the Storage Administrator (Provisioning) role.
  1. From the navigation tree, select Storage > Pools.
  2. From the inventory of pools, select the check boxes for the pools to be deleted, and then click Delete Pools in the action bar.

    You can select multiple pools and delete them at the same time.
