Drive boxes are compact storage enclosures that hold large numbers of drives and can be installed in a small rack space (EIA-standard rack units).

Drive Box for SBX
The media chassis for SBX contains four 2U drive boxes in which 2.5-inch disk drives and the 2.5-inch flash drives are installed. Each drive box consists of two enclosures and two power supplies with a built-in cooling fan.The SBX holds 96 2.5-inch small form factor SAS SSD drives.

The UBX holds 96 3.5-inch large form factor SAS HDD drives.
