Use the Change Sending Trap Setting window to set up an alert notification when using SNMP v3.
This window appears when you click Change on the SNMP tab of the Set Up Alert Notifications window if the SNMP protocol version is SNMP v3.

Send Trap to | Specify the IP address to which SNMP traps are reported.

User Name | Enter the user name to be used for reporting SNMP traps. You can enter up to 32 alphanumeric characters, excluding the following symbols: \ , / ; : * ? " < > | & % ^ Note: Do not include space characters at the beginning or end. |
Authentication | Select whether to perform the authentication.
Authentication and encryption information is displayed only if authentication is enabled. |
Authentication - Protocol |
If authentication is enabled, select either of the following authentication methods:

Authentication - Password | If authentication is enabled, enter a password. The password must be 8 to 180 alphanumeric characters and can include the following symbols: \ , / ; : * ? " < > | & % ^ Note: Do not include space characters at the beginning or end. |
Encryption | Select whether to perform the encryption
Encryption information is displayed only if encryption is enabled. |
Encryption - Protocol |
If encryption is enabled, select either of the following encryption methods:

Encryption - Key | If encryption is enabled, enter a key. The key must be at least 8 alphanumeric characters, including the following symbols: \ , / ; : * ? " < > | & % ^ Note: Do not include space characters at the beginning or end. |
Encryption - Re-enter Key | Re-enter the same key. |
