Use the following guidelines and suggested steps to help resolve datastore availability issues when deploying management VMs using the Service Console.
- Condition:
- When running the Service Console, and selecting one of the following configurations:
- Hyperconverged infrastructure (HC) with a management node but no vSAN
- Converged infrastructure (CI) with a management node
- What it Means:
- There is no valid datastore created where the management VMs can be deployed.
- Corrective Action:
- Retry the operation using information for a different VCSA.
- Log out of the Service Console.
- Log on to the VCSA where you want to deploy the management VMs.
- Create a datastore of about 650 GB or more.
- In a web browser, log on to the Service Console.
- Proceed to the Select a VCSA version page, select only the Deploy UCP Advisor Management Software option, and then click Next.
- Enter the VCSA information.
- Select the datastore you created in step 3.
- Proceed with the rest of the deployment.
