If you are restoring the key management server connection after the SVP replacement, restore the connection setting of the key management server which is already backed up. After doing so, if the setting in the Edit Encryption Environmental Settings window before the SVP replacement is a value other than #1 in the table in Determining the encryption environmental settings for your system, set the client certificate and root certificate of the key management server again.

If you have not backed up the connection setting of the key management server, set the connection for the key management server again. If you have not stored the client certificate, create a new client certificate. Then, set the client certificate and root certificate of the key management server that you have just created.

If the setting in the Edit Encryption Environmental Settings window before the SVP replacement is #4 or #5 in the table in Determining the encryption environmental settings for your system and you have already created a new client certificate after the SVP replacement, update the key encryption key after you set the connection for the key management server. In this case, the deletion of the key encryption key fails because the key encryption key cannot be deleted from the key management server before the update. However, the key encryption key update is complete.
