There are some situations in which storing snapshot data might end abnormally.

The raidcom modify snapshot -snapshot_data create CCI command might terminate abnormally, as when the command is rejected, if the consistency group includes a pair in a status other than "PAIR."

Restoring a Thin Image Advanced pair might end abnormally in either of the following conditions.

  • Snapshot data for a consistency group including the Thin Image Advanced pair to be restored is being stored.
  • The primary volume of the Thin Image Advanced pair to be restored is also used as the primary volume of another Thin Image Advanced pair. In addition, snapshot data for a consistency group including the latter pair is being stored.

When you use consistency group pair-split to split a pair, if the target consistency group includes a pair that cannot be split, all the pairs in the consistency group are suspended and enter the PSUE status.
