You can resynchronize Thin Image Advanced pairs that you have
split or that the storage system has suspended.
A maximum of 1,024 snapshots can be stored for one P-VOL. If you want to store more snapshots for the P-VOL that already reached this limit, you need to delete old snapshots.
- You must have the Storage Administrator (Local Copy) role.
- Thin Image Advanced pairs must
be in the PSUS status or PSUE status.
Resynchronizing pairs using CCI commands
The following is an example of deleting snapshot data for the P-VOL (LDEV number
10:10) of MU number 10:
raidcom modify snapshot -ldev_id 0x1010 -mirror_id 10
-snapshot_data resync
The following is an example of deleting snapshot data for the S-VOL (LDEV number
20:10):
raidcom modify snapshot -ldev_id 0x2010 -snapshot_data resync
The following is an example of deleting snapshot data for all P-VOLs in the snapshot
group (db1):
raidcom modify snapshot -snapshotgroup db1 -snapshot_data resync
