Only Basic shared memory can be used with TrueCopy. Adding shared memory expands the capacity of the pairs to be created. You can remove shared memory that is no longer needed.
Note:
Shared memory cannot be added to or removed from the storage system when pair status is COPY. When either of these tasks is to be performed, first split any pairs in COPY status, and then resynchronize the pairs when the cache or shared memory operation is completed.
