You can perform TrueCopy operations using the Command Control Interface (CCI) command-line interface software. CCI allows you to perform TrueCopy operations by issuing commands to the storage system either from a client or server through the host Fibre Channel interface (in-band method) or from a LAN-attached computer (out-of-band method). CCI provides a scripting capability that enables you to automate replication operations. CCI is required for performing failover operations.
