Volumes that are in global-active device pairs and that have the status PSUS, PSUE, SSUS, or SSWS can be made source volumes. A volume with any other status cannot be made a source volume.

In global-active device, the primary volume and secondary volume must have the same volume attribute (VOL_ATTR displayed by the raidcom get ldev command). After a volume is migrated by the Volume Migration, make sure the resulting global-active device pair is not composed of volumes with differing volume attributes.

If a volume of a global-active device pair is shared as a volume of a ShadowImage, the volume of the global-active device pair cannot be a source volume during a Quick Restore operation on the ShadowImage pair. After the Quick Restore is complete, perform Volume Migration.
