The source and target volume must satisfy the following conditions:
- Managed by the same storage system, even if the volumes are the external volumes.
- Must have the same capacity (in blocks).
- Must have the same setting in the T10 PI attribute.
- Must be specified by LDEV ID, not VOLSER or TID/LUN.
- When you encrypt a source volume by using Encryption License Key , encrypt a target volume, too. If you do not encrypt a target volume, data in the target volume is not encrypted. In this case, the confidentiality of target volume is not guaranteed.
