Make sure that the usage rate of a pool containing a DRD-VOL with capacity saving enabled does not reach 100%. If the pool usage rate reaches 100%, the following maintenance operations are no longer available:
- Controller maintenance
- Increase or decrease in shared memory
- PS-OFF/offline microcode replacement
An SNMP trap is reported when the pool capacity utilization exceeds the threshold. For more information, see Pool utilization thresholds.
If the pool usage rate reaches 100%, reduce the pool usage rate by referring to SIM 62Axxx (Moderate) in SIMs for Dynamic Provisioning.
