When you disable a software license, you can re-enable the license. When you remove a software license, you must contact customer support if you want to reinstall the license. Use the following workflow to disable or remove the Encryption License Key software:
- Verify that encryption is disabled for all DDP groups.
If encryption is enabled on any DDP group, the software license cannot be disabled or removed.
- Initialize the encryption environment settings.
If the encryption environment settings have not been initialized, the software license cannot be disabled or removed.
- Disable or remove the Encryption License Key software.
