Perform the following steps to create a
business model:

Right-click Business
Models in the navigation pane and select New Business
Model.
The
Business Model Properties dialog box appears as
shown below.

At the top of the dialog box,
there is an ID text field, pre-populated with a value.
Pentaho recommends you accept the
pre-populated value as this value must be unique across all models that you
define.

To name your new model, enter a
new value under the Name property text box on the
right.

Click OK to save your changes and exit the dialog
box.
