Remote replication groups created prior to Ops Center Administrator v11.0.3 differ from those created in v11.0.3 and later.
When creating a remote replication group using v11.0.3 or later, the process of building Global-active-device (GAD) is faster compared to earlier versions. Additionally, paths are set differently for S-VOLs. For more information, see the path specification for S-VOLs.
Note: In the UI and documentation, remote replication groups created prior to v11.0.3 are referred to as "Legacy remote replication groups". In the UI, "(legacy)" is appended to the user-defined names of these groups. For instance, example-replication-group-name(legacy).
Create and manage remote replication groups using the same steps as prior to v11.0.3. However, there are some differences between remote replication groups and legacy remote replication groups created with Ops Center Administrator prior to v11.03.
