Ops Center Administrator enables you to view all replication groups.
You can also access replication details for a volume to view and manage all replication group membership and volume pairs.
Replication groups apply the policies that control how volumes are replicated. Their parameters include:
- Type of technology:
- For remote replication:
- High Availability
- Asynchronous Remote Clone
- For local replication:
- Snap on Snap
- Snap Clone
- Snap
- Clone
- For remote replication:
- Whether consistency is used
- Snapshot schedule
- Snapshot retention
When the technology type is High Availability or Asynchronous Remote Clone, Ops Center Administrator replicates volumes through Ops Center Protector. Based on the policies associated with Ops Center Protector's data flow, the secondary volume is created. For detailed information on Ops Center Protector's data flow and policies, see the Ops Center Protector documentation and GUI.
Replication groups are created when volumes are replicated.
