Provisioning volumes with the NVMe over FC protocol is based on the following best-practice policies:
- Creates and manages a single NVM subsystem per server or server group. The NVM subsystem has a path configuration for NVMe over FC and the same path configuration is used when provisioning volumes to a specific server or server group.
- Controls host access for namespaces by configuring the namespace path. Namespace security must be enabled.
