Use Virtual Appliance Manager to back up system settings before moving Ops Center Administrator to another instance. Also, you must upgrade with this method if you are upgrading from v10.0.0-v10.8.x that was installed using the stand-alone preconfigured media to v10.9.0 or later using the consolidated Ops Center preconfigured media.

The settings include configuration files, an email template file, and an SQL file.

  1. Open a browser, enter the following URL in the address bar to access the Virtual Appliance Manager, and adjust the settings for your server environment:
    https://ip-address:port/vam

    where:

    • ip-address is the IP address of the Ops Center Administrator server.
    • port is the port number of the Ops Center Administrator server. The default port number is 443 or 20961.

When upgrading from Ops Center Administrator installed using the Ops Center preconfigured media or application installer:

    • User name: sysadmin
    • Password: Specify the current password. The default password is sysadmin.

When upgrading from Ops Center Administrator installed using the stand-alone preconfigured media:

    https://ip-address:port/vam

    where:

    • ip-address is the IP address of the Ops Center Administrator server.
