Updating an AD domain registered using the virtual appliance manager

You can update or delete a domain that was registered using VAM.

The Security Administrator role is required to delete a registered domain or an account domain.

  1. Open a browser, enter the following URL in the address bar, and then click Registered Domains:
    https://ip-address:port/vam

    where:

    • ip-address is the IP address of the Ops Center Administrator server.
    • port is the port number of the Ops Center Administrator server. The default port number is 443 or 20961.

    The default login credentials are sysadmin/sysadmin

  2. Perform any of the following actions:
    • To update a registered domain, do the following:
      1. Select a registered domain, then click the pencil icon to open the Edit Domain dialog box.
      2. Update the TCP port and IP Address and click Update.
    • To delete a registered domain, do the following:

      Make sure that the domain is not listed in the Security Settings in Ops Center Administrator and you have your Security Administrator credentials.

      1. Select one or more registered domains, click the trash icon, and then enter your Security Administrator credentials.
      2. Click Submit.
