Managing migration tasks

Access the Migration Tasks window to modify or delete migration tasks, or to interrupt a migration.

  1. Navigate to the detail window for a storage system, then click Migration Tasks.

  2. On the Migration Tasks window you can perform the following actions:
    • Select a scheduled task, then click Edit Migration Task to open the Edit Migration Task window where you can update the pool and the schedule. You can update the capacity saving setting and volume ID range of the target volume as well as update the shred and delete source volumes cleanup options.
    • Select an in-progress migration task, click Interrupt Migration in Progress and confirm that you want to stop the migration. The migration cannot be restarted after it has been interrupted.
    • Select a migration task that is not in progress, click Delete Migration Task and confirm that you want to delete it.

    • Click on the ID of any migration task to navigate to its Migration Task Detail window.
