Access the File Pools window from the detail window for a storage system.
Use this window to view file pool information, delete or expand existing pools, and to create new pools.
The colored bars display used capacity, physical capacity allocated for use on the underlying block storage, and the file over-commit capacity. The over-commit capacity reflects the amount by which the file pool is over-subscribed.
Each row shows whether the file pool is tiered, the file pool name, and capacity utilization.
The following actions are available:
- Create: To create a new file pool, click the plus (+) sign to open the Create File Pool window.
- Open: To open the File Pool detail window, click a File Pool label.
- Delete: To delete one or more file pools, select them, and then click the Delete File Pools () icon.
- Add: To add capacity, select a file pool, and then click the Expand File Pool () icon to open the Expand File Pool window.
