You can update namespace paths for volumes that are attached to a server.

  1. On the dashboard, click Servers, then click the server that you want to update. The detail window for the server opens.
  2. Select one or more volumes assigned to the same NVM subsystem as namespace for which you want to edit namespace paths, then click Edit Namespace Path to open the Edit Paths window.

  3. The Host Mode is set by default to the server operating system. You can make a selection if needed. The server OS Type is provided when the server is added to Ops Center Administrator.
  4. Click Next.
  5. In the Path Settings window, you can view available ports and assigned ports.

    The following options are available for managing namespace paths:

    • To add connection ports, select ports from Available Ports and click Add.
    • To remove connection ports, select the ports from Assigned Ports and click Remove.
    Note: Ports that are available for provisioning with the following conditions are displayed:
    • Security Disabled
    • Not a VSM port
    • For existing ports, the namespace security of the path is disabled between the server and the port.
