Use the server group details window to manage servers and attached volumes in the server group.

Access the server group details window by clicking Server Group ID in the Server Groups tab of the Servers window.


Server group details

The following server group functions can be performed on this window:

  • Select a server group, then click the edit ( ) icon to access the Update Server Group window for a single server group, where you can add or remove servers, and edit the name or description.
  • Select a server group, then click the trash ( Trash icon) icon to access the Delete Server Group window, where you can delete the server group.
  • In the Volumes tab, select one or more volumes and then click one of the following:
    • Click Actions > Attach Like Volumes > Attach Like Volumes with Local Replication.

    • Click Actions > Attach Like Volumes > Attach Like Volumes with High Availability.

    • Actions > Detach Volumes.
    • Actions > Protect Volumes > Protect Volumes with Local Replication to open the Protect Volumes with Local Replication window.
      Note: Command devices cannot be protected.
    • Click Actions > Protect Volumes > Protect Volumes with High Availability to open the Protect Volumes with High Availability window.
      Note: Ops Center Administrator can protect volumes with high availability in existing replication group with following conditions:
      • P-VOL STATUS and S-VOL STATUS of all paired volumes in the replication group is PAIR.
      • Status of the corresponding replication in Ops Center Protector is OK.
      Note: Command devices cannot be protected.
    • Click Actions > Unprotect Volume to unprotect a volume.
      Note: Ops Center Administrator can unprotect volumes with high availability in existing replication group with following conditions:
      • P-VOL STATUS and S-VOL STATUS of all paired volumes in the replication group is PAIR.
      • Status of the corresponding replication in Ops Center Protector is OK.
    • Click Actions > Others > Restore Volume.
    • Click Actions > Others > Attach to Storage.
    • Click Actions > Others > Migrate Volumes to open the Migrate Volumes window.
      Note: Command devices cannot be migrated.
    • For tiered volumes, click Actions > Others > Update Tiering Policy > to access the Update Tiering Policy window.
