Ops Center Administrator comes with a default local user that has permissions for all functions in Ops Center Administrator.

On a regular basis, you can change the password of the local user by accessing Change Local Password in Settings in the top navigation menu.

To provide more granular control to your users, you can use role-based access to control the functions that can be managed by different users. To do so, you must first add your AD server as the source of authentication. Ops Center Administrator supports adding one external AD server.

You can then assign Ops Center Administrator roles to user groups that exist in the Active Directory account domain. Members of the user groups use the assigned user roles, and therefore, only have the privileges attached to those user roles.

Note: You must use your User Principal Name (UPN) to log on. The UPN is a system user name in the format username@domainname (for example, user@domain.example.com).
