  1. Using NAS Manager, log in and select Reboot / Shut down from the Server Settings page to display the Reboot or Shut Down Server page.
    Note: The page has different options depending on the configuration of your system.

  2. Click the button for the action you want to perform as described next:
    Option Action
    Reboot
    • To reboot a single node, use the drop-down list to select a node, and then click reboot.
    • To reboot all cluster nodes simultaneously (sequentially), select the applicable drop-down option, then click reboot.
      Note: Clicking reboot stops all file serving EVSs on the selected node or all cluster nodes, then reboots the node/nodes. Rebooting may take up to five minutes.
    Shutdown
    • To shut down a single node, use the drop-down list to select a node, then click shut down.
    • To shut down all nodes at the same time, select all nodes simultaneously, and then click shut down.
      Note: Clicking Shut down stops all file serving EVSs on the selected node or the cluster, then shuts down and powers off the selected node or all nodes in the cluster. The PSU is still powered on and the node is not ready for shipment.
