The VSS Hardware Provider software has the following requirements:
- The NAS server: Firmware version 5.1 or later.
- The VSS host:
- Windows Server 2003 with SP2 or later (32-bit or 64-bit version) or Windows Server 2008 (32-bit or 64-bit version).
- 16 MB of free disk space.
