The software deployment tool provides you with three different options for your system.
- Install Operating System, Kubernetes, and HCI: This option performs a network boot over Preboot Execution Environment (PXE) to install the Rocky Linux OS onto your nodes before installing both Kubernetes and HCI.
- Install Kubernetes and HCI: This option is provided for users encountering issues with network booting over PXE. Once you have manually installed the OS using the HCI ISO file, it can be used to install both Kubernetes and HCI.
- Add a New Node: This menu option helps you to add new nodes to your system. Upon selecting it, you are asked to provide the IP address of any existing control plane node, as well as provide a hostname for your new node.
