When mounting block snapshots or replications created by a policy containing a File System classification, it is possible to choose between various mount levels

| Control | Description |
|---|---|
| SAN | Adds the snapshot or replication to a Host Group |
| Host | Adds the snapshot or replication to a Host Group and confirms that it is available on the specified Host. |
| File System | Adds the snapshot or replication to a Host Group and mounts the protected volumes to a File System node. In the case of Windows Server Failover Clusters, the snapshot can also be added as clustered disks |
In case “File System” is selected, Protector will display the following additional wizard page that allows the application-specific options to be configured.

Note: Not all options may be enabled depending on the type of snapshot or replication and the target File System node you want to mount to.

| Original | Mount the snapshot or replication to the same mount point or drive letter used on the source at the time of backup. |
| Starting Drive Letter | Select which drive letter the snapshot or replication should be mounted to. |
| Cluster Resource Group | When mounting to a Windows Server Failover Cluster, select which resource group the snapshot or replication should be added to. Note: This option will not be offered for standalone File System nodes.
