You use the product installer when you want to install necessary products only, upgrade existing products, or install the Ops Center products on a single VM (for example, running Red Hat Enterprise Linux).
The high-level steps for installing Ops Center on a single RHEL VM are as follows:
- Verify the system requirements.
- Install and configure Red Hat Linux.
- Download the software and install the Ops Center products.
- Configure SSL.
- Register each product with Common Services.
- Apply the product licenses.
Note: To complete the Ops Center installation, you must also install the
Analyzer probe server on a
separate VM.
