Specify the duration for which
you want to view a report (maximum: 7 days) and click
OK.
Hitachi Enterprise Storage performance reports support a duration of one year. If you select the duration longer than 7 days, the data is rolled up and the data granularity of a report is plotted on a pre-defined structure as the following:
Duration Data granularity 8 days to 1 month 2 hours 1 month to 3 months 4 hours 3 months to 6 months 8 hours 6 months to 12 months 24 hours You can view the data rolled-up status on the Status window. For more information refer to, Viewing data processing status.
Note: Regardless of the duration that you select, the data granularity also depends on the resource availability. For example. If you select 12 months and the resource that you are viewing is available only for 6 months, the data is rolled-up based on a pre-defined structure of 6 months duration and the data granularity is 8 hours.Note: A probe ID is used internally to identify a probe. Suppose you have added a probe in the past for a target. Over a period, you deleted the probe and re-added a new probe for the same target. Due to some reasons, the probe IDs for the old and newly added probe are different (even if the target is the same). In that case, you can only select the duration for which the newly added probe has collected data under the Resource tree subnodes in the Analyzer detail view UI.For example, suppose you have added the Hitachi NAS probe for a storage system with a "4001" serial number, and its data is visible on the Analyzer detail view UI from June-01 to June-14. Over a period, you delete the Hitachi NAS probe and add the Hitachi NAS (REST API) probe for the same target, and its data is visible on the Analyzer detail view UI from June-15 to June-30. Due to some reasons, the probe IDs for the old and newly added probe are different. In such a scenario, under Resources > Storage Systems > HNAS > HNAS-System-Name > Storage Pools > Storage-Pool-Instance subnode, you can select the report duration for only the newly added probe (June-15 to June-30).
If you want to view reports on the Storage-Pool-Instance subnode for any duration between June-01 to June-14, click the HNAS-System-Name node, select the required duration, and then select the Storage-Pool-Instance subnode. The reports are displayed for the selected duration in the Reports pane.
