Health Check has predefined default settings that you can customize to meet your requirements. These settings are user-specific and retained at user level.

Changing the duration

You can change the duration using the Duration option. The default duration of the Health Check view is the previous day.
  1. To change the duration, click the Change link.
  2. In the Duration, select one of the following options:
    • Last: This is a default setting, the Health Check view show the latest available data up to last 1 day. For example, if you are viewing the health on July 28, 2019 (current date), the Last option shows the data until July 27, 2019. You can either choose 1 day or 7 days.
    • Custom: You can view a health in custom duration, specify the date range for which you want to view the health (maximum: 7 days).

    You can refresh the Health Check view by using the refresh option.

  3. Click Ok.

Changing the Health Check view settings

You can change the settings as follows:
  • Show or hide the inactive resources
  • Number of records to display
  • Enable the color cell based on metric value
These settings are available at the upper right corner of the Health Check view and they are applicable to all the types of target.
  1. At the upper right corner of the Health Check view, click the Settings () icon.
  2. You can modify the following settings:
    • Hide inactive resources: You can choose whether you want to show or hide the inactive resources in tree map. By default, the inactive resources are hidden. A resource is considered inactive when its data is not available or the available data is not sufficient to calculate the health.
    • Records per page: You can specify the number of records you want to view per page. (minimum: 10 and maximum: 100)
    • Color cell based on metric value: Select the check box to view the records highlighted with a color that represents the value of the metric. Closer to Red means a lower score and closer to Green indicates a higher score.
  3. Click OK to save the changes.

Applying the filter

You can filter the records based on your requirements.

The Health Check view automatically filters the records of the selected target as you drill-down to view its details. You can remove this filter to view all the records of the target.

  1. In the area where target tabs are listed, click the Toggle Filter () icon.

    The filter option is shown in each column. In the following example, the Health Check view has automatically applied the filter to records of the selected target as you drill-down.

  2. To remove the filter, click remove filter () icon.
