While monitoring multiple data centers, you might want to receive Health Check reports over an email for offline usage. For example, offline reports could be useful typically to check health for a specific period, or provide health status to higher management on a scheduled basis, or view the inventory report to ensure that recently-added hardware is reflected in the Analyzer detail view. You can achieve this with the Report Scheduler.
The Report Scheduler allows you to create a schedule for generating reports and delivering them in email periodically at the specified interval.
With the Report Scheduler feature, you can:
- Schedule the Health Check report to view the overall health of your data center.
- Schedule an Inventory report to view the infrastructure details of your data center.
- Schedule the Workload Analysis report to view workload information of applications and underlying resources.
- Schedule the Replication report to view relationship between virtual and physical storage systems for global-active device (GAD) pairs.
- Schedule the VSM Summary report to view configuration and performance details of the Virtual Storage Machine (VSM) in your environment.
- Set the report frequency: One Time, Daily, or Weekly.
- Email the scheduled report to any number of users.
- Download scheduled report from the UI.
- View existing schedules and edit them as required.
