You can change the default alert thresholds or disable an alert if you no longer want to receive it.

Connect to the HDEBUG shell as the
megha or
root user.

Run the following command:
editRule

To edit the rule, type
y and then press
Enter.

Enter the alert ID (rule) that you want to edit and then press
Enter.

Do the following:
- To edit the threshold, provide the threshold value and then press
Enter. (Skip editing the threshold by pressing
Enter.)
- To disable an alert, enter
Disabled and then press
Enter.

If you are prompted for additional inputs, ignore them and press
Enter.
A message is displayed confirming that your edits are saved. The settings will go into effect when the next alert cycle begins.
