Managing alert definitions

You can view an alert definition, subscribe (or unsubscribe) to notifications, pause, or edit an alert.

1. In the application bar area, click the Alerts menu, and select Definitions.
2. In the Active Alerts tab, click the Filter icon to filter alerts:
   • Category
   • Alert Name
   • Severity
   • Updated At
   • Notification Status
3. In Severity, click the indicator to view the details.
   The details section opens with the following links for managing alerts:

   • View Subscription Information You can view the notification information for a specific alert.
   • Subscribe or Unsubscribe To subscribe to email or Syslog, or SNMP notifications, select the email group, type the email, select the Syslog server information, or select the SNMP Manager, and then click Subscribe.
     Note: SNMP Manager option is not available for System Alerts.

     To unsubscribe, click Unsubscribe. (The default alert setting is Unsubscribe.)

   • Edit Refer to Editing alerts for more information.
   • Pause You can pause the alert evaluation and the notification for a specific time period, and restart it later. The alert is moved to the Paused Alerts tab.
   • Delete You can permanently delete the alert definition.
