You need an authentication token to make a Analyzer detail view REST API request.

Because the API request uses HTTP basic authorization, you must use this authentication token with every request.
Note: To access the Authentication token option, you must log in to the Analyzer detail view UI directly. You cannot see the option if you use Common Services single-sign on.
  1. Log on to the Analyzer detail view UI directly.
  2. In the Administration section, click the Authentication Token link.
The Authentication Token window shows the token.

Note: If you have logged on to the Analyzer detail view using an Active Directory account, the Enter password for active directory user window opens. Provide the password and then click Submit.
  3. If you want to change the token, change the user password. The token is updated automatically.
  4. To view the new authentication token, click the Manage menu, and then in the Administration section, click the Authentication Token link.
