- Remove the lock cover by removing 4 screws, 2 on the outside and 2 on the inside.
- Cut the seal when installing on the high end of the door.
- Remove the current handle by removing the hex bolt on the inside in the lock mechanism.
CAUTION:Keep the swing handle with the padlock bolt nearby.
When disassembling the current handle, use one hand to hold the lock mechanism and use one hand to place the swing handle with padlock bolt.
- Remove the two screws on the inside of the lock mechanism.
- Hold the lock mechanism so it stays at the same height.
If you do not hold the lock mechanism, the lock slider will fall off.
- Place the swing handle with padlock bolt.
- Fasten the swing handle with the two screws provided with the swing handle with padlock bolt.
- Mount the lock cover the same way it was removed (with the 4 screws).
