Use the following guidelines and suggested steps to help resolve issues when onboarding certain VSP G series storage systems.

Condition:
Onboarding of certain VSP G series storage systems fails and the connection times out.
What it Means:
The RAID Manager is not responding properly because the DNS server is not returning localhost(-127.0.0.1).
Corrective Action:
Change the setting of the DNS server so that it returns localhost(-127.0.0.1) in the environment.
