Use the following guidelines and suggested steps to help resolve vCenter cluster configuration failure during UCP Expansion.
- Condition:
- The vCenter cluster configuration fails during UCP Expansion.
- What it Means:
- You cannot continue with the UCP Expansion operation.
- Corrective Action:
- Perform the following on the new compute nodes:
- Re-image ESXi with the Hitachi Vantara custom image.
- Remove the ESXi servers from vCenter.
- Remove any VSAN disk partitions.
- Verify that the UCP Expansion prerequisites have been met, and then retry the UCP Expansion operation.Note: If the issue persists contact Hitachi Support.
